NEW YEAR'S EVE FASHION TIPS

New Year's Eve is quickly approaching and, if you're like me, you still don't know what you'll be wearing! Between prepping for Christmas and working full time, I've been trying to figure out what to wear on New Year's Eve 2014. Right now I'm thinking gold and black might just be the way to go!

New Year's Eve fashion is all about glitz, glamour and glitter. You want to make a statement and not fade into the crowd of sequins, but you also want to look classy and stay true-to-yourself. A gold and black New Year's Eve outfit will let you do just that - plus it's incredibly on trend.

To create the outfit I collaged above, I actually started off with the heels! They're a gorgeous gold metallic ankle strap heel with pointed toe. They're super classy, a medium heel and are sure to compliment nearly any dress on any occasion. Perfect for the versatile-loving gal.

I love the soft gold shoulder bag because, let's be honest, a clutch is stylish but really difficult to cling on to all night long. I'd rather opt for something with a chain strap so I can worry less about my bag and concentrate more on enjoying the night and having a good time. The slightly lighter gold fabric with yellow gold accents adds some extra dimension to the ensemble, too.

I chose a pair of classic diamond and gold stud earrings or a pair of chandelier earrings, but vamped up the look just a little bit with the black and gold cocktail ring. It will catch eyes while you're holding your drink or have your hands in the air dancing, but doesn't make the outfit too edgy.

This is the sort of outfit I'm thinking of wearing on New Year's Eve. Do you know what you'll be wearing on New Year's Eve 2014? Let's talk about it! Enjoy the rest of the year guys...Until next time :-)
